This is particularly for colleagues who either undertake SoTL (Scholarship of Teaching and Learning) project or colleagues who support it. Also if you are from social sciences, or education your perspective will be helpful!
There is a persistent habit of jumping straight from a project idea to methods, regularly without even formulating a clear research question (or hypothesis). So I am experimenting with different ways to encourage thinking about questions, the purpose of the data, and methods differently.
Break the SoTL Quiz
Not sure this quiz would do the trick. Hence my call for help! Can you help me break it? Well, and subsequently put it back together better!
This is how it works:
